What happens if I have dislocated my knee, then popped it back into place?

What happens if I have dislocated my knee, then popped it back into place?
It happened about 20 minutes ago. I fell backward then realized that my kneecap was not where it should be so I popped it back into place.

I can bend it, but it's extremely sore down to my ankle. I'm trying to stay off of it.

Should I consider going to an urgent care clinic for this?

1. might be a good idea
not sure of the implications - but it sounds like you might want to make sure you didn't tear anything - or need a brace.
