3. I'm rootin' for ya.
I hope he gets arrested for disturbing the peace.

The same shit goes on in my neighborhood. And you wouldn't expect noise complaints from me, a 26-year-old, but I'm getting to be quite the bitchy old fogey about this issue, calling the cops at least once a week on my pesky neighbors.. :eyes: I'm not tolerating it anymore, and I'm sure that the Austin Police Dept is tired of hearing from me.

Good luck!

A musician and lover of loud music as well, and I'd also feel like punching the asshole if he was on my street in the morning.

2. The secret is to ask him via a message wrapped around a large
cinder block thrown at his windshield.

I find it to be a very effective form of communication

for retrieval purposes (might want to save it for future use) :)

4. How early did it start?
Anything before about 11 a.m. counts as a crime against humanity in my book. Near me it's more normally lawn-mowers starting up at 8a.m. on Saturday (especially if I've been up late the night before).

5. re: lawnmowers at 8a.m. on saturdays:
that is just parents trying to get their lazy-assed kids out of bed on the weekend. alternative methods involve vacuum cleaners (the older and noisier the better) dishwashers, etc.

i know, cause i was a lazy-assed kid.

6. Around here it's lawnmowers and leafblowers
Thankfully, it's not leafblowing season yet. But the guy who mows my yard always hits mine first... at about 7:30 am. Those Saturdays, I just want someone to shoot me. Please.

18. The leaf blowers are the loudest, & chainsaws !
The lawnmowers seem quiet compared to the blowers ,even the guy using the blower is wearing ear protectors. My poor wife works nights gets in bed around 4:00A.M and sure enough at about 8:00A.M. they are right outside the bedroom window ,blowing away !

And I live in the country! :-) People saw their own firewood around here.

Man there's no doing anything with a chainsaw running.

28. Crime or no crime
it's rude.

Keep your noise to yourself whenever humanly possible. This includes the exhaust/engines on cars and motorcycles.

7. Three Step Program:
1) Download "C Is For Cookie" off the internet.
2) Place your stereo speakers directly by your open windows.
3) Blast his ass off your block with the swimming, swanky sounds of Cookie Monster. Over. And over. And over again.

27. I love "C is for Cookie", myself.
It's the sheer enthusiasm of the song that I think really does it for me. The un-penned interjections, especially the "OH BOY!" near the end.

Okay, I am thinking about this way too much.

29. My bro had this problem at his apartment.
Some new people were blasting Afroman at 2 AM, so my brother knocked on the door and a drunk guy came out and said, "Too loud, huh? Well, fuck off" and slammed the door.

So my brother went to the basement and found the fuse box and turned off the power to their apartment.
