4. I would like to be able to punch a hole through walls.
A great big hole, shaped like a palm.

That's the shizzle right there.

5. High Points:
1. Zither/Harp playing blind assassins fight.

2. The story behind why the main character became a bad guy in the first place. And how the whole "Buddha Palm" thing turned around at the end. Very cool.

Made me go back and get the DVD for "Shaolin Soccer" which is also good, but Kung Fu Hustle is better.

6. I saw Shaolin Soccer first
which made me go into Kung Fu Hustle with high hopes and my expectations were definitely met and exceeded

The Zither/Harp scene is one of those scenes that at times I'll pop in the D.V.D just to watch that scence cause it kicks so much ass.

8. the Chinese translation is not great
Edited on Sun Sep-18-05 09:25 PM by NewJeffCT
but, even with my limited knowledge of Chinese, I know it's not as good a translation as "Crouching Tiger" or "Hero"...

My wife, with Chinese being her native language, agrees... though she won't give me many real translations. "Landlady" is something along the lines of "fat pig mother", but with a few expletives thrown in, too.

It was a heck of a lot of fun, though.
