2. Are you looking for a specific kind of cake,
like angel food, or pound cake, etc. Or do you just want to make a heavenly chocolate cake, yellow cake ...traditional birthday cake?

I can hook you up with some 'works every time' recipes. No problem.

7. Check your pm.
I can even talk you through this over the phone if it helps. I realise the recipe relies on equipment and product not everyone has, but if you let me know, I can tell you what else will work. It's more than possible to make it using a bowl, a spoon, a fork and some measuring devices.

If you're going to the store for any of the ingredients, you'll need 12 oz, of dark chocolate chips, a pint of heavy cream and light corn syrup for the frosting.

5. Actually..a used book store.. get yourself an OLD cookbook
and make some scratch cakes.. They are the best..Sfit your flour, and be 'gentle' with the batter :)

have a good recipe for "apple brownies/squares/cake"

2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 butter (softened)
1 c brown sugar
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped walnuts
1-2 cups chopped apples(peeled)

Sift dry ingred
mix all other ingred (except appples)

combine with dry ingred...then fold in apples

bake at 350 until sides shrink from pan, and done in middle

top WHILE HOT..with
1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

enjoy :)
