This is a dumb question but... |
|
...does anyone here know if watermelon is good for you? What vitamins does it have in it? I'm just MAD for it lately and am eating tons of it!

|
then the air hits the inards and whooose, they turn red until the process stops right before it gets to the rind...

9. It has some vitamin C and some vitamin A. It's not super |
|
nutritious but neither is it bad for you. Certainly it's better than eating candy or cookies. I believe most watery foods are natural diuretics, which means they help flush out your body. That's always good.

19. Not a dumb question at all. |
|
I don't think the scientific community has completely investigated the benefits of watermelon.
Off the top of my head, I do believe that it has some fiber, and surely some good minerals and vitamins in the rind. Also, natural fructose.
What colors it pink/red? I'd like to know. :)

...whatever looks firmest in the store, so I eat pink and red. Probably more pink as the red is a bit overripe this time of year.
