In high school or college, were you the heartbreaker or heartbreakee? |
|
I dated my hubby most of that time, but as for all the other guys I dated, I hate to say that I broke all of their hearts! :( Oh well, I could have been the one getting broken up with!

I'm too nice to just dump a girl. I always have to let her down gently. As a result, she was always the one doing the breaking-up.

I was the "friend."
Ack! Kaff! God was that awful!
Thus, in college, I was the rake, the rogue, the devil-may-care.
Now I'm the Daddy.

So naturally I fell into the latter category.

36. Hey, I was a dork with a huge record collection, too! |
|
I only had one girlfriend in high school and we didn't break up until college, and I was the heartbreakee in that one.
I've since withdrawn from that whole game until an undetermined future date.

I was a dork and nobody liked me, so my heart was broken ALOT. Then I had a drastic make-over, in and out, etc. I was hot after the make-over and became a slut. I broke alot of hearts, sadly. I've sort of grown up, lol, and I'm in love for the first time. Been with my bf for 5 years and I'm truly in love for the first time in my life..

The cool fraternity boys I chased broke my heart, but I had a little fan club of nerds who followed me around, hoping I'd decide that me being 6" taller didn't matter.
Ended up with a giant weightlifter nerd.

sometimes I wish it had been the other way around. I might've been better at coping with heartbreak as an adult.
Who knows.

in fact, I've only broken it off with one person in my entire life. I didn't date much in HS, but I was always the one left holding the flowers standing in the rain as my date drove off with another guy.

I still see one of them all the time, and I'm still sort of friends with another one who just informed me he's dating some chick I went to high school with--"haha, isn't that a coincidence". :puke:
(I'm not bitter, but I did need to vent for a sec. Thanks.)

42. In high school i was a god. |
|
No kidding. I was not in the popular clique per sey, i was known as the big bad ass rebel. Being very tall, with long dark hair and ice blue eyes did not hurt either ;) Anyway i also had the bad boy image down pat as well. Along with that image i had constructed this whole "love is for suckers" attitude. This attitude allowed me to dump the ladies and move on at will.
I managed to avoid any heartache in high school. After high school though, out in the real world i got my old heart torn to shreds a time or two. After which i had a much wiser view on relationships. This new found appreciation of romance and all things romantic allowed me to cultivate a wonderful healthy marriage of which i have been a loving member for 12yrs now.
