3. Awww, that's so cute! Teach 'em young not to be afraid to cook |
|
in the kitchen. Sounds like he takes after you, KitchenWitch! :)
How old is your boy? Mine's 11, soon to be 12 next month. Middle school, attitude, ugh....He's a good kid, but the attitude thing really bugs me sometimes.

|
He is 14. He is taking a cooking class in school right now, so his assignment has been to plan and cook 5 meals for midterm...I like it a lot!
He is a freshman in high school.

|
and the girls take Shop at the beginning of my senior year, 1972. We had so many guys in Home Ec. They wanted to know how to do more than boil water!

I took a French cooking class when I was about that age. I do most of the cooking in the family.

23. Wow, cooking class in school? How nice! Is it a private school? |
|
I'm pretty sure our public HS doesn't have cooking classes for the kids.
Yeah, 14. Ugh. I'm just now starting to enter the adolescent years with my boy and I am daunted. Let's just get him through middle school first!

28. Well, I have yet to see if our local HS will have electives like that. |
|
I certainly hope so. At his middle school, there is no money for any of that sort of thing. No band, nothin'. It's a bummer. They're constantly fundraising...
Our schools have no money, meanwhile, our stupid gov't is spending 7 BILLION dollars a month on this illegal war.
Don't get me started...
