I'm still drunk.
A night of drinking didn't end until 6:30 this morning because of a very long, somewhat-productive philosophical, political, theological drunk discussion with a friend.

Got up at noon, got a haircut, got something to eat, smoked a couple cigarettes, got on DU....and I'm still drunk.

I'm awesome at life. :)

1. Why is it all the answers appear at 3am and disappear by dawn?

4. Here's to you, champ.

Nights like that are pretty great, aren't they? Especially when you get a whole Saturday afterwards to recover.

I went to bed around 4 after seeing a show and getting a tasty breakfast. I just woke up about an hour and a half ago. I'm not drunk now, but I'm oh so sleepy.

13. Thanks...I've been meaning to give a big "your sig line kicks ass"
thumbs up to you but it never seemed to make sense in the conversation. So anyway, your sig line kicks ass!

7. A friend of mine used to always joke
about drinking in shifts. Drinking for eights hours being one shift. The graveyard shift is always the toughest. 6:30 am you are wasted, the sun is coming up, birds are chirping, and perky energetic people are emerging from their houses to go jogging. How I used to loathe them.

The real syrupy type.

However, make no mistake....it will get you drunk.

22. LOL....mine didn't......It's cheap malt liquor for me when I drink.

My old penny pinching habits, and the "bang for your buck" attitude concerning alcohol haven't changed.

I drink mostly 211, The Bull (preferably Red), and Bull Ice. It's an acquired taste.

So I haven't had a drink in 22 years...

Do they make non alcoholic scotch.....

10. Had a couple of those this summer.
With the same friend, too. Something about us when we get together, we talk through the night.

Seeing everyone wake up and go about their day, I never felt loathing, just amusement. One time, we drank through the night, and it was about 7:00am. We decided it would be great to go to a local diner and get some breakfast. We stroll in, both pretty drunk, and there's his dad sitting there at the first table, drinking his coffee, reading the paper, getting ready to go to work. We felt like complete jackasses. :D

20. Aren't the best philosophical, political, theological discussions
held while drinking at 3:00 AM?

I used to get terribly philosophical in the middle of the night in the middle of a bottle of wine.
