3. As a matter of fact, I had to zap it and reinstall this week |
|
Not a cookie problem but just doin wierd stuff. Now I can't get the plug-ins to work so I can watch video bits and stuff like that. Too much going on right now to tinker with it.

I won't be messing with it tonight, but it logged me out of mozilla the other night then had me reset it up with "default user"..now it is screwing up left and right
Glad it's not just me..made me worry that I had worms or something

We got new firewalls and a German virus program (Havocdad speaks/reads so he found the site, think they have English options, the thing has English commands, info) He had to dump Firefox and reinstall a couple 3 weeks ago, same deal, cookie problem with some sites he uses. We were also having odd things go on, desktop going beserk, settings changing. That prompted me to assume the firewall needed to be replaced. Worried that we were getting hacked. Seems fine now.

10. Um, me too, only it kept making the computer lock up after goin to a link |
|
Come to think of it, I couldn't get my bank's site to accept my sign on afterwards too. Guess I did have a cookie problem, just not with DU.
Time to destroy cookies and empty caches NSMA!
Kiss the hound for me too. Mine is snoring behind me. Tough day herding cats ;)

6. I switched to Opera this week partially for that very reason |
|
I logged out and back in earlier this week, only to find that it forced me to login again. I even tried resetting my password and trying again, only to have the same thing happen.
(Thanks for the reminder, by the way - I've got to go fix my password now. :) )

9. It's done that to me before. |
|
I could fix it temporarily by deleting history and cookies, then restarting the browser, but eventually it would start doing it again. I eventually uninstalled and reinstalled the whole thing. Don't forget to save your bookmarks if you do that. I lost all of mine.
