Has anyone else noticed... |
|
... that the "special sauce" in a Big Mac simply doesn't taste the same as it used to?
Not big, nor particularly important... but worthy of a senate special committee at the very least I should think...

I was at a rest stop and I noticed they were having a contest for the new PSP that was like the monopoly game. So I decided I'd eat there...never got the game pieces.

Wendy's makes a better burger, IMO ... and I don't eat very many of them, either. But if anyone's going to call their sauce "special", it certainly should be that. :hi:

In my case it is only ever an emergency measure, and only then as a hangover cure. There's just something about all the chemicals pumped into the meat (I use the term "meat" loosely, of course) that works wonders in placating the hoards of Neringi-Berber Tribesmen that inhabit my noodle after the (very rare) BIG night out.

is a sausage McGriddle once a year while on our road trip vacation.
I do like Sonic and Culvers, though my trips there are rare too (especially since there are no Culvers around here!).

... as neither Sonic nor Culvers have made it over to Denmark yet... we just make do with huge slabs of pig dumped onto a slice of rye-bread with roasted onions on top.
That or the obligatory pølser (sausage-inna-bun) on the terraces when watching the local footy-match.

... I already have my "Trucker's Friend" attached (the urinary facilities in the house are therefore superfluous)... and have installed a beer-chiller next to me that uses the superheated exhaust from my processor cooling-fan in a heat-exchange to keep my copious amounts of "electric soup" cool.
All I need now is to flip open www.just-eat.dk and order myself a late-night munchy and I'm laughing...

Sounds like you're already addicted! And you're ready to be, as well...
I loved your comment about when are the meds passed out? I am a newly retired RN, and in the way back good old days, I did work some in some psychiatric units...so I know about meds!
You have already made yourself a place, here in the heart of DU: the Lounge!

Maybe it's after you have discovered how to cook and then actually make something that tastes good....
I think that is where you begin to say to yourself...
