Holy Shit! How come no one ever told me about World War II?! |
|
I heard the term "Nazi" today and thought, "What is that?" so looked on google and lo and behold there was this whole ginormous world war thing revolving around "Nazis"!!
Am I the only one who's never heard of this? Why isn't there anything in our history books about it?
What else have you people been keeping from me?!

The Nazis used the Swedish invasion of Germany in the 30 Years' War and the resulting high civilian casualties as an example of why they needed to rearm and abolish the Treaty of Versailles.
Sometimes it may seem like a joke, but it's real history. That's the good stuff...

Wars have a tendancy to take a few centuries before they're actually "over"...
look how long we've been fighting the Civil War here in the US! That started before we were a country, had 5 years of actual violent conflict 100 years later, and still hasn't gone away.
