3. I love that movie!
The rescue scene at the end is both hilarious AND endearing!

And the flapjack - "Here's where we separate the men from the boys"

I was so sad when he died, and am still sad.

5. Buck Melanoma
Moley Russell's wart.

No, I'm not her wart. I'm her tumor, her growth...

9. So true. Seeing JC in a movie just sucks me out of the movie and
into a bittersweet moment which makes watching his films a different sort of experience. Planes Trains and Autos is a pretty perfect movie.
His SCTV stuff is great. I wonder... did he ever host SNL? I don't t think so.

10. i am a huge fan of SCTV, when i saw Rush in i think 82 they had
a huge screen up and Joe Flaherty was in his vampire uhf movie hosting costume to introduce Red Barchetta, it was awesome, of course were also very high so it was a mind blower--he kept leaning in and saying "Blah, blah, blah". I also loved Andrea Martin and Indera Gahndi and Perini Scleroso--"Can you direct me to the hotel?"

11. Cool. Rock and comedy go good 2gether. I once saw the Allmans
in NY at the old Palladium at height of the Blues Bros. popularity. Belushi came onstage as Jake Blues, and sang along on encore of Crazy Love, doing a few cartwheels. Ahhh, the good old days. The Allman's smoked.
