Among the stupidest posts on Freerepublic, ever
Judge for yourself. This is just amazing:

"...he envisioned a brain-dead, "completely arid society, devoid of civilization, deprived of representation of human feelings, inhabited by a herd with no sensibility, which would automatically obey his orders."

...this is exactly the way hillary feels...
remember mao was her biggest influence in her college years.
i wonder though if hillary likes little boys or little girls?

2. what's sad is this shit actually works
I'm not a huge Hillary fan, but that's due to issue considerations, not this garbage.

But for your typical voter who lacks information these kinds of linkages to negative certainly affect their perceptions. Just the other day some bozo at my dad's work tried to push some Ed Klein crap on him. He asked me about it and I told him it was a bunch of garbage. Republicans know that people lack information and all they have to do is associate someone they want to tear down with something the voters know about and have negative perceptions about.

6. but this guy probably read Klein or heard it from someone who did
Edited on Fri Oct-21-05 09:58 AM by Strawman
and the negative associations just get worse and worse. Probably some incorrectly remembered linkages between a second hand version of Klein's trashing of Hillary and old rumors popular among the same folks about Bill Clinton and child molestation. Remember the infamous rumor about Bill fingering Chelsea? The "child molester" schema is a powerfully negative node in most people's minds. And it's also accessible in working memory because you hear about it all the time in the media. This kind of jumbled incorrectly remembered nonsense is absolutely typical of the working of a politically unsophisticated mind under the influence of the right wing noise machine.

7. Use arid and be sure...
NC's (neocons) sound like a broken record most of the time...

I can't even invent a line as ignorant as this freeper's statement. Perhaps DU should have a contest not unlike the Faux Faulkner contest, wherein you have to define a problem in the world today and come up with a totally convoluted, Rube Goldberg-way to blame it on liberalism and/or socialism.
