I've had to work at not swearing, because there are families all over the park, but many's the time I've broken out in a string of profanities and then looked around behind me to see someone's grandmother blushing. So now, most of the time, if I catch myself, I'll yell something really inane, like, "Oh, darn!" I'm a freaking parody of myself now.

Some of us are just a bit thickheaded and prone to forget that we are in public. It's soooo easy to get deep into the game. Golf in any form is just a beautiful game that demands intellect as much as athleticism. I can forget the rest of the world exists when I play it. That's why I play it. Pardon us our trespasses.

And yes, put your pants on before you call the cops. Those first impressions are important. ;)
