10. ChiSox up 3 to 0. Series is best of 7. ChiSox need only one more. |
|
Houston would have to win 4 in a row to take it.
Prior to the Boston Red Sox doing that against the Yankees last year (not in the World Series but in the "semis", the ALCS), I don't think any team in any sport had ever come back to win from down 0-3.
I don't see any way the Astros could do it, because, frankly, it seems to me that the ChiSox have shown that they are better.
I guess anything's possible, but not bloody likely.

11. Thank you so much...... |

I really appreciate your analysis and history lesson, as well!
Sounds like you really know and love the game.......
I might even watch it tomorrow, or whenever the next game is.......

12. Excellent Job, My Ass!! |
|
Fuckin' Houston beat themselves tonight. They simply fucked it and this game sucked.
As a long-term Astros fan, and a longer-term White Sox fan, I still want to see the Sox win the Series, but not in four fucking games!
Goddamn it.

9. It's going to be seriously depressing if the White Sox win tomorrow. |
|
And I seriously hope the umpire from game 2 of the ALCS gets kicked in the testicles.

You'd think at least you'd want your team to have lost to the best.
