All These Years... I Thought Niger Rhymed With Tiger |
|
Mostly because of the limerick:
There once was a lady from Niger Who smiled as she rode on a tiger They returned from the ride With the lady inside And the smile on the face of the tiger
Oh well... silly me.

2. we've ALWAYS pronounced it that way |
|
What do you mean, you were pronouncing it Niger as if it rhymes with Tiger...its always been pronounced Nizhair. It was never pronounced Niger rhyming with Tiger. What a silly thing to do, to rely on your memory.
Next you're going to tell me that we all used to be allowed to vote. Back to Reeducation with you!
