I may have pneumonia and I may be going to the hospital soon |
|
A nagging flu that hasn't gone away for two weeks has gotten worse...I will be going to the college infirmary tomorrow.
Wish me luck. I'm really scared.

2. Good luck! Hopefully, it hasn't turned into full-blown pneumonia. |
|
Perhaps it's bronchitis. Regardless, I'm glad you're getting it taken care of.

4. Please go now...pretty please. Things can turn from bad to worse |

in a matter of minutes WindRavenX.I am not trying to scare you but, last year when I was so sick, it was pneumonia contracted through a staph infection in the hospital OR. It took exactly 24 hours for me to be fighting for my life in the ICU. Please, I beg of you, go now.

5. I talked to a nurse who said that given my condition... |
|
...I could wait to get back to Boston before going in (I'm in NYC and the only way to get treatment would be the ER). I'm monitoring myself very closely-- anything that goes worse, I will go to the ER.

6. The nurse in my hospital room told me I was okay too. |

She lost her job over it. Pneumonia can quickly take a turn. I worry...after the experience. Please let me know how it turns out. I am a crusader against undiagnosed, untreated pneumonia now.

And besides, my boyfriend is worried too-- if I get any worse, he's gonna drag my ass to Mt.Sinai himself

7. keep a close track of your temperature |

the imperceptable changes in condition that can happen quickly, but incrementally, might be able to be detected a little more quickly that way.
Be careful, wary, and get well quickly.

It's really scary being sick and taking a clinical physiology class-- you know exactly what's going wrong and what could kill you :scared:
