Damn, my doggie just had an accident! |
|
That's one bad thing about working from home---I get to deal with all of the home crap as it happens, not when I get home from work! I was sitting at my desk talking to my boss when I got a whiff of.... you know what. My office is downstairs away from the rest of the house, and I shouldn't be smelling you-know-what down here. I then saw one of my dogs, Vicki (looks like the RCA Victor dog), cowering in the hallway. I knew right then that she was up to no good. It was pouring down rain outside, and she rarely has accidents, but she had to go and she wasn't gonna do it in the rain. When I finished my phone call, I looked for the source of the odor, and I found it. :yoiks: Poor ol' dog... she had to go!!! Lucky me---I got to clean it up and everything. :puke:
I will have to give her credit, though---she came right to me and immediately apologized after she'd done her business. She does this if she has an accident, and she's usually trembling, thinking she's gonna be punished. Since it's so rare, it's always accidental if it happens, and she doesn't get punished. I gave her a hug, kissed her head, and sent her upstairs.
I'm sure all of you wanted to know this, didn't ya?

3. Yeah, I couldn't find her GEICO card or anything. |
|
Do you think the gecko would cut her some slack? After all, she only has these accidents on a very rare basis. :P

I don't have that much patience with my kitties! But I'm not a stick-their-nose-in-it person either...

My husband (who also works at home and watched me clean it up :evilfrown: ) calls her the Pantload Dog. If there is ever a mess created by the dogs, guess who gets to deal with it?

5. Why don't doggies like the rain |
|
Mine will sit by the door cross legged until it stops rather than go pee pee in the rain.

In fact, every dog I've ever had since childhood has been the same way. One of the dogs I had in the late 80s, a Tibetan terrier, actually tried to lift her paws up simultaneously to avoid the wet grass. I nearly fell over laughing, but she didn't think it was funny. :P I told her she couldn't levitate, but she tried anyway.
