Wait, I should have said "Post a Pic thread OF A FISH thread 0418" in the subject line.

We are considering upgrading Ian McLargehuge from a single comet in a bowl to a 10-20 gallon tank. Has anyone had luck with slightly more exotic goldfish species? I'd rather not get him something that only has a 50/50 chance of survival even under good conditions.

1. Shubunkin's do good in a maintained tank.
They're pretty, too. Some people even have these as pond fish - but I think the winter season is pretty hard on them. They're pretty robust fishes:



Or, what's the most fun: Kois! (Although the guy's hand is in a sturgeon's mouth in the pic. The others are Kois.)
