Edited on Wed Apr-19-06 06:50 AM by matcom
wow. never sat up there before. imagine going to a baseball game and being handed a menu when you sit down in your padded, WIDE seat.... being SERVED all your food and drink.... and having a view like the following:

The Matcoms Invade:

Manny and Big Poppy on deck:

1. I am officially jealous!
Although I am a Twins fan, I would love to go to Fenway Park for a game.

3. How much did the Tix set you back?
I have heard the ticket prices at Fenway are terribly high.

4. 100% NOTHING
my boss bought 4 season tickets in the Pavillion 406 club. went for free. won't be our last of the season either.

i THINK they are around $200 a pop up there (normal tickets are a lot cheaper though) but yeah, ticket prices have gone up this year

5. NIIIICE!
Our ticket prices have gone up as well, but we still have among the cheapest seats in all of baseball.

The Twins instituted something this year that made me mad. There are regular games and there are premium games (premium being more likely to have high attendance - therefore we have to pay more). The Yankmes, Cubs and BoSox series' are all premium games... GRRRRRRRR

6. there isn't a single game played in Fenway that isn't 110% sold out
not one. and i say 110% because they actually sell standing room only tickets (which isn't bad at all because you can wander around and see things from different views)

8. Our venue (the Humpy Dome) can hold over 55,000 people
Hard to sell out in our market.

Our home opener had almost 49,000 in attendance though!

23. Day of game tix maybe? I can't get the site to let me buy any tickets.
High traffic on the site, most dates sold out- at least, I can't get four tickets ( I wanted the kids to go too) to any of the games I tried.

I may have to take him to a Sox game in another city. Not the same though.

On the bright side, Matcom sent me a private message! :bounce:
It is nice to know that even though he gets special seats to Red Sox games, he is not so stuck up that he won't talk to me!

19. When I was a girl, my father worked for Stroh's and would get
awesome seats (Stroh owned) to Red Wings games. Those were the days for this "bleacher creature". ;) :hi:

17. The nosebleed seats?
Just kidding. I had the opportunity to go to an O's game in the Club Level seats. They didn't bring you menus but it was very nice.

Every seat at Camden is wiped off for you by the usher....yep even the nosebleeds like those. :bounce:

BTW- just a hint don't post pictures of yourself with your girlfriend at the ballpark ESPECIALLY if your wife posts on the same internet board. Whew boy lemme tell ya I learned that one the hard way.
