Do you "log out" every time you leave DU? |
|
Our local news did a story on spy ware this week. They said that we should always log out when leaving a site. They also said that we should have a different password for every "log in" site we visit. I had been using the same pass word and have not been logging out. I will change my pass words and start logging out now. I have anti virus software that I thought would protect my computer from spy ware. But, this report said that that might not be enough protection if you remain "logged in" to a site.

3. Is there a way of telling which sites you can trust? |
|
I'm sure DU is one. But, how can I tell if other forums I visit are safe?

5. I don't post on other forums. I seldom have the time to visit them. |
|
There are a few sites I would like to have the time to become active on but summer is almost here. I'll have less computer time than ever this year.

don't use spyware. so I stay logged on to DU all the time.
And if one of the paying sponsors did, I'm sure they would deal with it appropriately.
