Dream interpretation question: |
|
Assuming dreams mean anything, and I generally don't think they do but am curious about this one, what would a dream of giving birth mean? Obvious literal interpretation is out, it wasn't the birth of my son, and I'm assuredly not pregnant, nor do I want to be anytime in the forseeable future.
Any guesses?

start of something new? Like a new job/career, something of that nature.

was the dream, ...like reality...what I mean, was the giving birth part, similiar to your real experience, as in...did you experience/percieve pain, and all the things associated with it, or was it just...opps, there it is?
If it was nice/pleasant, I would assume the dream was a sign of something good...

I think its a sign of something new coming into your life, or the begining of something new, which is going to be good...at least good, since your dream was pleasant, and caused no apparent discomfort....:D
But I ain't no scientust....:D

4. are you going through a lot of change? |

i could read that as giving birth to a new self or situation. or it could be something in your life coming to fruition.
but take this with a grain of salt, i've had a few glasses of wine

7. For me, I find that most of my inexplicable dreams are really just telling me that |
|
I should have skipped that third helping of nachos...
On the other hand, perhaps your dream is telling you that some idea or project you've been ruminating on is ready to be shoved out into the light of day...

9. Check out dreammoods.com. |
|
It has a few possible meanings: new idea, inner child needing attention, anxiety over giving birth.
All these dream questions made me google it. Interesting stuff, if you go for that sort of thing.
