Question for the men here

How old were you when you started receiving adult female sexual attention? Meaning honking/hollering as they drove past, or sexual comments, rude gestures, propositions, stuff along those lines?

I got my butt pinched with great regularity in my early twenties--and a few whistles walking down the street/catcalls from parties etc.

I only ever got whisteld at/propostioned during the few intervals I actually had a girlfriend, so I never explored them to see if they were digging my scene or were repulsed by me and were acting out in an ironic fashion or some such.

Similar lines for the butt pinching--it never amounted to anything and I couldn't tell if I had a nice one and they couldn't resist, or if because I was tall it was at just the right height....

Nah, the butt pinching was quite real I assure you--I even becam good friends with a few of the pinchers.

As far as older women showing an interest in me when I was much younger, I can't recall that happening until I was already an adult myself.

I think the first adult female sexual attention I got was very different that the types of attention you describe.

On second thought, a girl did surprise me by grabbing my ass at the arcade when I was 14. It surprised the hell out of me but I didn't mind.

I posed it originally, as a woman, to other women.

Then someone suggested posting the same poll for men. I had to fight my urge to change the wording.

The main thing I was going for is "sexual attention from female adults" (not school-aged peers, unless we're talking post-high school) - something that made it clear they were having sexualized thoughts about you, and interacting with you in a way that communicated that.

Actually I could not afford a death ray. Noxious Hippie odors had to suffice and a baseball bat as a last resort. Even so I wound up married for 8 years... (see what happens when you shower? Don't do it, it's a trick). She could not understand why I was so happy when that house fell on her sister so she decided to go torment someone else! Single again and couldn't be happier. My ex-girlfriends mother used to make me feel really uncomfortable, but no where near the extent to which my wife has had to endure cat-calls and out right harrassment from strangers. It's just not an apt comparison.

But she had more to fear from her peers than from any stranger adult or otherwise. She just told me the first time she remembers for herself was about 12 years-old by a man in his 30s or 40s. But it was the drunken teenage parties where the harrrassment hit home the most.

The first time I really began to notice adult female attention was when I was 20, when I first traveled to and around the United States. I received about a thousand advances from women, allegedly, of which I recognized (unaided) approximately one. And, actually, she was younger than me and wanted to run away with me to get out of the Indiana town she was stuck in (I was, too, for a while...totally out of money, and she helped keep me alive by feeding me cold leftovers at the end of the day from her job at McDonald's) and experience the vagabond's life, and all that good stuff.

The Eagles song Take It Easy has special significance to me to this day not only for the fact that it came on the radio at the exact moment I shot through Winslow, AZ (delivering a brand new Fleetwood Cadillac from Flagstaff, AZ to Chicago, IL) on that first US sojourn, but because, months later in Van Horn, TX (home of Paisano Pete!), a pickup truck filled with pretty Texas girls around my age drove slowly past me as I walked along the main highway and whistled and hollered their appreciation of my form. :D

They called me "cowboy," apparently having no idea I was not only not a Texan but that I wasn't even a 'murkan. Must've been the Levis and matching jacket, ah reckon. :-)

That journey around the US was the first time in my life I really felt sexually-oriented adult female attention, though I remained shockingly oblivious to it for the next 20 years and probably still am, to an extent. :-(
