When a person goes into "rehab", do they get other medical help? |

Drug/alcohol addiction could not always be the ONLY problem a person has. Would a rehab clinic test people for post-partum depression or other medical/psychiatric problems.
A person could stay in rehab, and if that is not their only problem, not much has been accomplished.

1. I think it depends upon the facility |

Jerry Garcia was not in a medically supervised rehab center. From what I've read, had Jerry Garcia been in a different type of rehab facility they may have been monitoring his heart.

Like any other consumer product, one needs to know how to determine the good from the bad. Rehab's a very big bucks business and attracts all kinds of 'investors'.
