19. Actually, the Germans bombed Berle Harbor.

Berle Harbor, a small inlet on Lake Michigan, near the city of Chicago, was named for famed television entertainer Milton Berle.

At the height of his career, he was known as "Mister Television".

The town of Grunnel's Bight renamed the place "Berle Harbor" in his honor.

On May 7, 1945, over a week after Hitler had committed suicide and the war in Europe had ended, a rogue squadron of the Luftwaffe bombed Berle Harbor.

Since this was indeed the last gasp of the vaunted Luftwaffe, the bombs available were only cast iron 'practice bombs' with no explosive devices.

With the exception of two holes in the roof of a farmer's shed, damage was minimal.
