Here's a quote for tonight...
Larry McMurtry said it, in his book "Leaving Cheyenne."

Nobody gets enough chances at the wild and sweet.

I've been lucky beyond measure......

My life has had good amounts of both...

How about you?

1. That's so true, isn't it?
I've been fortunate to have both in my life as well.

Although, I wouldn't know the greatness of the sweet without having tasted plenty of the bitter.

Here's to always having a shot of sweetness. :toast:

2. My dear VenusRising!
Ah, how'd I know you'd be first here?

Thanks, sweetie!

And how true it is.......you can't appreciate the sweet without any bitterness to contrast it with...

And to have some wildness there too...well, you can't beat it...

3. I'd never leave you hanging, CaliforniaPeggy.

Wildness is great for the adventure of it.

I've had more bonding experiences due to wildness. It just brings people together.

And life is too short already to allow that.....
