If I could ask my fairy godmother/father for one gift, |

I'd ask to be outgoing.
I've always wanted to be, never have been, went through a period of years where I tried to force myself to be, and finally gave up on that.

1. I used to be somewhat introverted... |

What changed me around was a chronic illness. In a way, it made me recognize that we are all just people, and no one is better or worse than us. When you REALLY see that people's judgments of you do not matter one iota, you experience a freedom of sorts.
Once you are able to truly experience that freedom, any outgoing tendencies that you may have inside you tend to make themselves known.
This has been my experience anyway, for whatever it is worth. :hi:

2. Eh, it's not all it's cracked up to be. |

If you're considered outgoing, funny, approachable, you get no peace. Series. I can't walk into the grocery store without four or five people coming up to talk to me.
Sometimes I just want to get the errand done, not chat the afternoon away. And, sometimes I'm just not 'on' if you get my message.
But, I'm too old to change now. People would think something was wrong.
