I think it's time to get some names out there so we here in Denver can start wondering where and when we should meetup.

(this thread is really thanks to Green Meanie for the idea :hi: )

2. I've never known how many people would show up
for a regular DU meetup, but in August with the convention there are bound to be more of us around.

8. That would be cool
I've thought about taking a trip to Denver, but I'm always conflicted about whether I ought to visit my sister in Colorado Springs if I do. We had a falling out and I haven't seen her in 16 years, but I'd like to find out if she's changed as she claims and is no longer a right-wing fundie homophobe. If I had a good reason to go to Denver, it would make the trip still worth it if things got unpleasant. :hi:

9. I know a perfect place in downtown Denver for meet-up!
We can use the rooftop patio of the office where I work on the 16th Street Mall. It's right above the Paramount Cafe and Marlowe's -- we have parties up there all the time. And since I work for very liberal trial lawyers, they'd welcome everybody with open arms!

I've already signed up to work the convention; can't wait. We definitely need to put together a DU martini brawl some evening---your rooftop venue sounds perfect.....

Is it worthwhile to be at the convention if you aren't a delegate?

My cousin and her husband live in Denver and have been pestering me to pay a visit.

And I would definitely be up for a DU gathering.
