who's your favorite or least favorite tv/professional CLOWN?
By clown I mean the intentional, not inadvertant clowns. their characters are meant to make people laugh ,

Classic Bozo

always kind of creeped me out.

Bello Nock

loved him at the Big Apple Circus

Krusty the Clown

for the warped kinda funny

Blue Man Group

seriously blue and seriously funny

course my personal favorite

Zippy the Pinhead

any opinions on clowns?

3. Willard Scott?
He started as one of the many Bozos, but he was the first Ronald McDonald! How cool is that?

Red Skelton never did anything for me as a clown.

4. That picture of Bozo is
#1 pevvy
in a bad way

and

#2 reminds me of the carnival/boardwalk game where you have to aim the water gun at the clowns mouth and hit the metal thing in the back of the throat to blow up the balloon... the first one to pop wins!!!

7. Known mostly to kids in Oklahoma
A kind man I met several times, and the only clown who never scared me...

Ho Ho the Clown

<snip>
In real life he was not much different than what you saw all those years on television: a gentle, kind little Irishman from Connecticut who liked "to hug trees" and took much teasing from his 6 children for his "hippie" ways. To us "in-law" outsiders, it seemed that when he passed on, the heart and soul of his large family died with him. Funny ... that he filled that position was not apparent during his lifetime. I think he must have been much loved by the community as well. It took 3 funeral services to accommodate his friends, fans, and clown colleagues (clowns from all over acted as an honour guard at the first funeral; it was the cheeriest funeral you could ever see!). We still miss his sly humour and sweet
