1. You joined on 5/1/2006. |
|
So you've been here for roughly 20.25 months. If you have made 4,813 posts in that time, then you have posted on average 235 posts per month, or 8 posts per day. You have 187 posts left to hit 5,000, so if you continue at your average pace, you should hit 5,000 posts in approximately 23 days (187 / 8).
I guess the question is, are you posting more or less, on average, than you have in the past?
:hi:
(Please forgive my math geekiness!)

6. flvegan Lounge Theory #1 |
|
In the Lounge, the Response/View ratio averages (roughly) 1/10. It's quite consistent. It's the only forum in which this is the case. Flamewars, naturally, skew the results, but the average thread works out this way. This was proven a couple years ago when I first tossed it out there.
flvegan Lounge Theory #2 (the new one)
Activity in the Lounge during the avg workday (esp between 11am-5pm, EST when both coasts are logged in) DURING the typical "8-5" workday is not only at an increased level, but funnier. Why? We're slacking. Posting in a comedic fashion on a message board on the corporate dime is something that many of us are really, really good at. We should embrace it, and we should be proud of it.

7. Your Lounge theories intrigue me. |

You should apply for a grant from Skinner to pursue them further.
