Car remote control buttons
I just bought a used car. It has a manual for a CSI 1995 Command Start CS2400 and it comes with a CS-555 keyfob, which looks nothing like the one in the manual.

It has round buttons instead of square ones and they're marked one dot and two dots. I've got the starter sorted out (it's the right button but TFM says the left button should do that) but I can't figure out the door locks. They worked once, but I've never been able to re-do the sequence to get them to work. If I press the left-hand button the lights flash either once or twice, but nothing much else happens. If I hold it longer than two seconds, it flashes a whole BUNCH of times, but still nothing else exciting happens. TFM leads me to believe this is something to do with preventing it from starting at all.

  1. What is the correct sequence for using the door locks?

  2. What is the correct sequence for the start features?

  3. How do you stop it after you've used the autostart? Even turning the switch off doesn't kill the car - you have to use the remote.
