Who is the mystery illiterate in the US Cellular commercial?

Who is the mystery illiterate in the US Cellular commercial?
The commercial has a young woman talking about when she went off to college she worried about her dad because he never learned to write checks or read. Then she says he brings a bill into US Cellular store and a nice lady there helped him out. Now he brings all his mail and bills to this lady.

So, is this a new service at US Cellular? Will they balance my checkbook or wash my car? Or is it just an emotionally manipulative commercial playing on our sympathy for illiterates?
