Anybody else miss the beat of 80's pop music?

I don't miss the big hair, but sometimes when I need some energy I just have to listen to 80's music. Maybe it's because they played it at the gym where I used to workout... I don't know. But, I guess I just felt like embarrassing myself one more time today! lol

However, I was strangely addicted to working out... worked out 5 days per week - minimum - and the workout lasted almost 2 hrs!! Maybe I was high on endorphins, or something! Who knows? lol

I was in high school and college in the '80s and was a New Wave baby all the way--but that didn't stop me from enjoying the pop schlock at the dance club in my college town. (No wonder I never gained the "freshman 15"--I was always dancing!)

Saw some kickass concerts during that decade (U2, REM several times, Adam Ant, Billy Idol, etc. etc. etc.)--saw bigger names in the '90s (Clapton, McCartney, Petty) but never had as much fun.
