its a sad sad world
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 03:43 PM by Rising Phoenix
a good friend of the family, someone I've known since I was 6, had two beautiful children.....Caliegh 5, and Shane, 4. Both were killed in a horrific accident of Friday night. Apparently they were with the mother's twin sister in the car when she went the wrong way down a busy highway, she then pulled over and, at 9 pm at night attempted to cross the highway by foot with the two children in tow....they were struck by two cars and instantly killed. An investigation is pending. I can't go to the wake and funeral, because A I don't think I could handle it, and B I am babysitting my nephew while my brother and sister in law go. Good vibes for the grieving family please......how can life go on?

18. I'm so sorry about this. My husband is a firefighter and he was on
the night of the accident - it happened a couple exits down from the distance they cover. We have been thinking about this poor family all weekend. It is tragic for all involved, the family, friends and for the drivers that hit them.

I don't know how people endure this kind of heartache. If those were my kids I think I'd be on a locked ward and on suicide watch. My thoughts and good vibes are going out to everyone wounded by this awful tragedy.

The is the most horrible tragedy I've heard of in a long time. I can only surmise she was disorienetd for some medical reason, there's no other explanation for what happened.
