1. I love the vocal on "More Today" |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 08:22 PM by darkstar
That pure, nearly female male vocal 70s-pop sound, a la Todd Rundgren.
Seriously, as much as I like more rocking and later stuff, this song gets turned as loud on the car radio as anything. Way cool.
Thanks.

And even though there are no youtube videos let us not forget Leapy Lee and the immortal "Little Arrows."

Remember this one? (sorry, can't access youtube here at work)
Baby, baby, fallin' in love I'm fallin' in love again Baby, baby, fallin' in love I'm fallin' in love again
I could never see what fate had meant for me And then you came and made my dreams match reality Maybe you can see all the things you've meant to me And my simple fate is at the gate and, girl, you've got the key
CHORUS
It seems like yesterday you and I first loved this way But now I know how love can grow with each and every day As we lay at midnight's hour and feel love's hidden power So strong and bold as life unfolds its mystery to me
CHORUS
You and me for eternity in love will always be Young and free and that should be the way it's gotta be

Their debut Top 20 single from '67.
If this keeps up we're gonna have to rename this "two (or more) hit wonders". :) :)
Seriously, though - keep them coming - they're a lot of fun and they take me back to some interesting times.
