4. Wow, I haven't listened to Johnny Horton since I was a kid |
|
I used to love his historical songs like Battle of New Orleans and Sink the Bismark.

I use to keep on top of all music, but I've lost touch since 2003(since I hooked up with my wife), and it saddens me, that I've lost base with so much music....
I miss good heavy metal...the only chance I have at seeing new music is on tv, aka vh1, or mtv...and both of those channels make me want to kill myself with a dull spoon.

14. I'm not a huge metal fan... |
|
But if you're looking for good recent metal bands, Baroness and Mastodon both come highly recommended.

Leatherface is like Hot Water Music. Actually, they did a split. http://www.amazon.com/BYO-Split-Vol-1-Leatherface/dp/B00000IMZ2/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1200636725&sr=1-7Edit :: Seriously get the album "In a Million Pieces" by "The Draft" It is awesome if you like Hot Water Music... One of the best albums I have heard in years.
