ok so basically... I've given up talking politricks on teh internet. |
|
After looking back at several of the last few things I've written in response to stuff on the internet, about the democratic primary with other democrats, and about policy with people other than democrats, I realized I've gotten to the point where I'm now just an incorrigible prick.
Anytime someone makes a statement I find patently dumb, I just answer it with snark, sarcasm, mockery, and once in a while the honest truth about what I think of what they say. It's usually now something along the lines of "Wow I'm so amazed no one has ever been that edgy about candidate/political party/education policy, you must be the smartest person ever!!! Also you're dumb."
Is this normal?

When was the last time you saw any of my Health posts...They are almost ALL like that. So that makes you like me...However..I would not label either of us..."normal".:) But I would say...you are far from alone...
On edit: from my understanding that type of thing makes up at least HALF the posts in GD--primaries

2. now that I can't post in SS&P, I stay away from Health and R&T as much as possible |
|
reading some of the stuff in there and not having a place to say "Man that's fucked up" afterwards is too much.
