Well, my Father had a date tonight.
A real date.

He called and said he would be home by midnight.

He is 84 years old and his girl friend is 85.

They went out to dinner and a movie.

Yea Dad.

Should I wait up for him.

2. So he likes the older women then?
I think she's just taking advantage of his youth and inexperience. :P

3. Damn, ya gotta admire the human spirit
By the way, does he have an email account? Cuz if he does, he probably gets a lot of Viraga spam.

Waiting up is optional and depends on how tough you are.

5. No, my father is not into computers.
It has been a tough year getting him well.

He was really sick for awhile.

The lady he is with is really nice, so I hope they are having a good time.

7. Good, no spam, no dangerous pills. Glad he is getting his spunky back
Gives the rest of us geezers in training hope for a full, rich future.

But, don't wait up anyway ;) Go to bed and be very quiet when you hear him come in and know he is safe. Just as I stayed awake, feigning sleep when my daughter was a teen, she did the same when I started dating again in middle age.

Hope they have a wonderful evening. Really is inspiring.

9. It was hard getting him back into the land of living.
I made him go to the Senior Center everyday, now he won't miss it.

There are always more women then men there.

I am keeping him busy.

8. It's time for you to have The Talk with him.
You never know when he may think about getting "frisky" again.

10. Well, if he came home late tonight or in the morning it would be OK with me.
I have told him about AIDs, to be careful.

12. He hasn't been out on a date in years.
He was so surprised when a woman asked him out.

I told him things have changed.

He can find me if he wants to talk.

He sounded really happy over the phone when he called.

Yea Dad.
