My favorite words in the whole world-
"This gift I have, simple, simple; a foolish extravagant spirit, full of forms, figures, shapes, objects, ideas, apprehensions, motions, revolutions... But the gift is good in those in whom it is acute, and I am thankful for it"
--Shakespeare

What are your favorite words in the whole world?

1. the lyrics of Hallelujah
"And even though it all went wrong, I'll stand before the Lord of Song, With nothing on my tongue, but Hallelujah.."

There are seven verses, 4 usually sung together, and every single line of it almost makes me cry :loveya:

6. My dear asdjrocky...
My sigline:

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creatures, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.--Stephan Grellet.

Also the words: I love you, baby...

8. Adonai, Adonai, El rachum v’chanun, erech apayim v’rav chesed ve-emet,
notzer chesed la-alafim, nosei avon va-feshah, v’chata-ah v’nakei.

Those are some off the top of my head. There are so many, but these are my favorite part of the Yom Kippur liturgy. I know that a lot of people around here don't buy into religion, but the feeling I get after finishing Yom Kippur is indescribable. It makes me feel like a whole new person, I think. It's much more profound to me than January 1st, in any case.

BTW, they translate as:

"God, God is gracious and compassionate, patient, abounding in kindness and faithfulness, assuring love for a thousand generations, forgiving iniquity, transgression and sin, and granting pardon.”

...which is nice to think about on the Day of Atonement :)
