http://www.red-dot.sg/Concept/porfolio/06/05FN/R021LM.htmThis is smart. My arm always falls asleep when it's under my husband's head. It's better than trying to figure out how to detach my arm.

8. but wouldn't that sort of ruin the function of the mattress? |
|
to be able to go into the crevices, the sheets would have to be very loose (which my girlfriend would hate, for one), and would probably just get pulled off, don't you think?

If the slats are individual then it wouldn't be so bad with a lint roller or vacuum maybe.

6. Brilliant, as long as... |
|
...you don't put a fitted sheet over it. Seems it would only work right with nothing on the mattress.

7. Maybe cut a slit in a sheet where the arm lays. |
|
You'd have to hem the edges so it wouldn't tear further, though.

It looks interesting, but what I'm afraid of is falling through the crack!
I just extend my arm down in front of me...
It ends up in a potentially very interesting place, if you catch my drift!
:hi:
You are up late tonight, sweetie!
Not that I'm complaining, mind you...

As for your arm falling through...just clean the dust bunnies from under the bed. It should be ok. :P

He always get hot and sweaty. What I need is a indented boob mattress so I can sleep on my tummy without uncomfortably squashing the girls.

I read somewhere once that a woman's breasts will change shape if she sleeps predominately on her stomach. It IS a girls crushing thing.

so I can lie comfortably on my front. With my foam mattress maybe I should carve out some "bowls" and replace them with low-density foam. I would if I had bigger girls!

Okay, it's not so conducive to actually getting to sleep, but it generally does lead to more... cuddling.

Open up a hole in the mattress big enough for his arm and I'd probably fall in and suffocate. :scared:

A buddy of mine and I came up with an idea for the "Arm Trench" in a mattress for this exact same idea - about 10 years ago. Their method of implementation is a lot better than what we came up with though.

I had no idea that you could develop neuropathy from that sleeping position. I'm sure that men have it far more often than women, though.
Too bad you and your buddy couldn't capitalize on this.
