I chopped onion and fresh cilantro tonight... |
I never cooked fresh cilantro before; and I'm pleasantly surprised to find that my hands smell like this herb rather than the onions I chopped! Life's little pleasures... :D

:D Over the summer, I made fresh salsa with cilantro, and it was quite good, if I do say so myself. ;) I like the way cilantro smells and tastes; in fact, it's probably one of my favorite herbs. :hi:

13. It was really fun to make, and it seemed to be a hit. |
:D The only problem was that I forgot that my dad was allergic to raw onions, and I put some green onions in the salsa, so he couldn't eat any. :( I did make some guacamole with cilantro, though, and he was able to enjoy that! :hi:

2. That must be because of cilantro's soap-like features. |

10. I'll bet it would be great in soap... |
Usually I use a coffee soap to get rid of onion stench.

in Boston last summer i was dying for Thai and the only place that had any was actually a chinese food place and it sucked, it tasted nothing at all like thai food so now she's coming here in July and the first thing she wants to try is Thai food.
