So, who here has stopped reading a webforum because you couldn't ignore certain posters?

I love the ignore feature here. It makes reading this site a lot more interesting, since the repeat offenders can be blocked.

I stay out of GD:P, but some people in the other forums here can be very mean. They get ignored. I only have a few people on ignore, but they were rude for no reason to people who didn't deserve it.

So, I'm spoiled. Now when I go onto other sites, and read something that just is out of line, I reach for the ignore button, and there isn't one.

I was reading a post about a new technology, it sounded very interesting. Somebody replied with a remark about Fox News and the Democrat primary. I reached for ignore since they were obviously not saying Democratic on purpose. You could tell from the rest of the context of their post. But there was no ignore, so I just left the site.

So I was just wondering if I'm the only one who has stopped reading some sites due to the lack of an ignore button.

with no redeeming quality, I won't go back.
