4. Beware shoulder belts in cars, esp the kind that automatically retract/come forward |
|
Friend of my kid had nipples pierced and when got in my kid's car the automatic shoulder belts came forward and rubbed. He wasn't happy about it, but everyone else laughed.
There are worse things. I figure let them be revolting in ways that can be covered up and don't cause permanent psych/physical damage. Good luck to him, hope they heal quickly.

9. I guess it could depend on your personal values |
|
Of course, I can't speak for the OP.
Personally, I don't like piercings, but not for a personal values reason. I just don't get the whole body modifying thing. But to each his or her own.

13. If done improperly, infection could set in. Sometimes fatal. |
|
Some would argue the natural beauty of the human body is betrayed by body piercings.
Besides, for the old maxim of "wanting to look different", is it really different when everybody ends up doing it?
I'll just stick to wigs, or the cheap substitute of slapping a dead skunk over my scalp if or when the time comes. It's certainly no worse a concept...

At least it's in a place that won't be obvious when he applies for a job - unless it's in a nudist colony.
It's not my cup of tea either, but considering some other things he could have done, this is no biggie.
