I just spilled $300 worth of medicine..ask me anything!

So trying to open my new medicine (which I paid $1266 for) was a struggle. It had one of those metal lids that's hard to get off. In the process of opening it..I spilled a whole dose out. I had enough to give myself the shot (which wasn't that bad) but still..That's one less of 4 shots. Oy. I can't win for losing.....:cry: :banghead:

3. I wouldn't recommend that...

It may work for some, but sometimes water can reduce the effectiveness of a drug. I would take the drus as directed and not play amateur pharmacist. I would contact your doctor and see if you could get a sample (my dad has done this innumerous times for patients that spill or lose drugs).

4. Nobody has samples of interferon I am afraid

Its a very pricey uncommon drug. I paid $1260 out of pocket today cause my insurance company is dragging its feet and I could not wait another month to start therapy.
