8. Oh thank goodness
you have someone to keep you safe from the evil socks! :D

Riley likes to play in drawers...he's not particular about clothing type, though he does seem to prefer dark colors. They go so well with his white fur. ;)

the cannot be bothered type. We refer to her as Princess, though her given name is Kyra. ;)

I'd be happy to offer Tater some belly scritches!

I'm trying to remember what was going on when I took that photo!

You're so right about his expression though. If I recall correctly, the cats were playing and Riley was taking a timeout from wrestling with Kyra, so it may have been,"The kitten...is she permanent?" ;)

22. Oh man...those were the days!
I'm sure he'd be happy to be rid of his siblings on occasion, but he's actually turned into a very, very good "daddy cat". And overall, he's MUCH happier.

Granted, not so much when Kyra's in attack mode, but...generally. :D

He kinda gets eclipsed by the adorableness that is Kyra and the psychoticness that is Spencer, but his personality is actually my favorite. He's a fabulous "daddy" cat and LOVES humans.

Aren't the other kitteh pictures in this thread great? One can never get enough of the kitteh. ;)

He has such beautiful markings. I just :loveya: him!

Geneva was sent outside when she wouldn't stop begging for our dinner one night. We are lucky we have a fenced in back yard and I can leave the kitties out there. They love it.

tonight though, if I let them out they'd blow away! Is it really windy where you are?

Actually, it's quite smart. He lays like that when it's hot outside...maximum tummy to cool wood floor ratio! And yet, it looks completely ridiculous. ;)

It is insanely windy here. We have the windows open, since the weather allows a nice break from the air conditioner, but the blinds are swinging all over. We might have to close up at bedtime!

46. Maine Coons are my favorite!
We had one when I was a kid and he was amazing. We tortured that poor animal so much (think baby clothes and blankets) and he put up with ALL of it.

I think my little Kyra is at least partially Maine Coon, she's certainly fluffy enough. :D

What I love about the Maine Coons is their inability to meow. She "talks" and whines all the time but never a proper meow. It sounds more like a meep or a moop. :)

Kyra is quite aware of her attractiveness. She loves to prance around and we typically refer to her as Princess. ;)

I didn't realize the inability to meow was a Maine Coon thing! Kyra definitely meeps and I always assumed it was because we rescued her when she was 3 weeks old and neither of my other cats really meow, so I figured she just never learned how, lol.
