Always has. Started wearing it in high school when he was on the swim team and hasn't stopped since. I think it either makes him feel a) like an Olympic swimmer or b) more European.

Regardless, it's given me an immunity to speedo shock. Not that I personally would wear one. I tried once and I felt totally naked.
