I am keeping my phone off tomorrow so I don't get called in. Ha! It's a freaking holiday; I couldn't care less if the rest of my coworkers are workaholics/suckups. I am not and I have holiday time coming so I am going to use it. I did tell my boss that I needed the time to finish my presentation for my thesis defense. As luck would have it, I have finished it today so I could go in tomorrow but I am not going to. I've had it with that stupid job and those stupid people anyway. The hell with them. Yes, I hate my job and my colleagues but hopefully I will get a different job in a few months now that I am finished my Masters.

These days corporations and companies have little or no loyalty to their employees, so I see no problem with returning the sentiment. The maximum amount of loyalty you should show the average employer is that which will allow you to keep your job as long as you need it.
Good luck in getting that different job when you've completed your Masters!

2. Actually I may go to San Antonio |
|
My boyfriend lost his car key at the airport before he left for Michigan. If he can't find it on his return to San Antonio, he was planning on renting a car to get back here and get the spare key and drive back to San Antonio to drop off the car and pick up his (assuming someone didn't find the key and steal the car). I may go with him if he wants some company anyway, now that I am done with my presentation.
