Battlestar Galactica & Final Five |
|
Is it possible that what distinguishes the final five from other Cylons is that they have free will?
That would make things like Tyrol's angst about being a robot and Tori offing Callie all the more ironic.

4. I thought it was funny last season when Adama referred to Apollos weight in stones |
|
in the US, that's slang for testicles.
How much is a stone anyway? Is it a stonehenge stone?

13. Ironically, one of my testicles actually does weigh 14 pounds |
|
In grade school I had to pretend it was a bean bag chair that I liked to carry around with me all the time.
Good times...

they'll have to resolve how Tigh has been Adama's friend since the first cylon war when the bad guys were supposedly all the "toaster" version.

9. oooh--good point. That goes to my alternate theory about the ''final four'' |
|
they aren't.
All four were on New Caprica during the occupation, so they could be human and the Cylons may have put something in their heads to fuck with them like Baltar.

11. I guess that is the problem with such long breaks between seasons |
|
My memory is hazy. I could have sworn they had fought side-by-side during the first cylon war.

12. Actually they first met long after the first Cylon War. |
|
The flashback they showed clearly had them in their 40s when they met & Sol was drunk & washing out.
What they'll have to explain is how they aged. The Cylons have up to now been shown as not aging, even though one line was built to look 60-something--which is an odd choice until you realize it's cause the producers wanted to hire Dean Stockwell.

15. Saw tonight's episode, and it re-ignited my earlier theory SPOILER ALERT |
|
If Tigh got Six pregnant, wouldn't that mean that he's NOT Cylon? Don't you need at least one human in the equation to make a baby?

16. Not sure but I think you're on the right track |
|
it is something along those lines. The only reason I hesitate that you've hit the nail on the head is that it seems some of the others are also developing free will, but maybe the final 5 are just the ones that 'got there' first.

18. preview of next week showed Deanna telling someone they are one of final five |
|
they show a reaction shot of Roslin, but that would be too big a surprise to give away ahead of time, so it has to be someone else on the base ship: Baltar or Helo...who else was went there?

Even though Roslin is still in the running for a skin job, IMHO, I think the tease was too convenient to be true.

21. if she is, the hairless scene of her a few weeks ago made her look like a terminator |
|
that needed to go through a few more stops on the assembly line (and therefore great foreshadowing).
