The Bravery are nothing but thieving hacks
So I was enjoying my daily 45 minute smog-slog of a commute home the other day, desperately trying to find something worth listening to on the commercial inundated, mediocrity laden vehicle for corporate payola known as regular radio since the crapping out of my second Sirius radio in three years last week, when I happened upon a certain new song that, at first, sounded like a cover of an old song I like, only I couldn't put my finger on which one. Before long, I realized it wasn't a cover, but a rip-off, only I still couldn't identify the victim. Until today.

The perpetrator: The Bravery, with "Believe"

The victims: The Meat Puppets "Plateau"

The evidence: The Cowards shitty new song (and yes, I'm only referring to the verses): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G7ZLaiPxu0

vs. The Meat Puppets awesome old song (performed by Nirvana - Unplugged): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hBkt-CnAv0

Final Analysis: The Meat Puppets rule, The Cowards drool.

this isn't my favorite song of theirs(though i like it).

thing is, there are a lot of songs that sound similar that aren't rip offs.. i don't think it is a rip off, but maybe that is just me.

4. Anyone who steals from the MP aren't worth their salt............
Now I need to dig out "Monsters" to cleanse my brain of the experience.

Meat Puppets fan from way back.

5. I know that 80's love is hot right now, but the Bravery take it too far.
1986 is over, people! Try paying homage to a different decade.

6. Yeah, that's borderline blatant.

The Bravery are okay, but they are like a 12th rate New Order wannabe or something. (Though on the chorus in this song they kinda sound like they wanna be U2 or something.)
