Have no voice. Mom and dad is cheering for McSame. And no stuffed donkey to comfort me.

5. Here is something I would probably do in your situation.
I would buy a stuffed animal (a donkey) and slowly decorate it with "I voted" stickers, pins of candidates you supported this year and in the years ahead, and it's gotta have one of those sun visor thingies to look REALLY cool. I would keep it as a sort of totem or hoodoo doll to concentrate my energy on and cuddle up until things get better.

6. Those machines are rigged
Only one out of 15 or 20 attempts (depending on the setting of the machine) has enough strength in the claw to get anything out.

How do you get something out?

Sit and observe. Keep track of number of attempts. Count the number between successful attempts. If it is 10 or 15 or 17 or whatever the machine is set at, wait until that number comes up again. Then try.
